Last week I did three talks, at the Highland Archive Centre in Inverness, for Haddo Arts at Haddo House in Aberdeenshire, and at the Aye Write book festival in Glasgow. After 2+ years of limited travel and few in-person events due to covid, it was great to see different places and people. Thank you very much to all the organisers, and to everyone who came along – I enjoyed sharing stories of research in archives, and introducing people to my new book “Daughters of the North: Jean Gordon and Mary, Queen of Scots”.
I have more events planned for later in the year: please subscribe to this blog for updates, or follow me on Twitter or Instagram.
