Highland LIT May event

I will be talking to Highland LIT in Inverness on Tuesday May 21st, about Josephine Tey.

Highland LIT meet regularly in Inverness, and everyone is welcome to attend. The free event is at the Beaufort Hotel, starting at 7pm – or you can also sign up to attend online.

I’ve spoken to Highland LIT before and I’m sure this night will be equally enjoyable – there is always time to chat, and ask questions. They’ve asked me to talk about Josephine Tey – and I think this is the first time I’ve done a talk in Inverness specifically just about Tey since we successfully got her blue plaque. I’ll definitely be mentioning the plaque, and probably also talking a little about not only Tey’s story in my biography, but also some of the newer material which is in the new edition – and more.

This is the second event I’m doing in May – please see my last post for details of the event at Aberdeen University which focuses on my book “Daughters of the North”. I hope to see people at both events!
