Inverness Castle – new writing

Over the last few months I have been working on some commissioned writing for Inverness Castle.

Inverness Castle is currently undergoing refurbishment, and is set to reopen as a tourist attraction in 2025. When it reopens, it will celebrate the ‘spirit of the Highlands’ through stories of past, present and future.

Working with Highland theatre company Dogstar, I have been asked to write short pieces sharing some of the history and stories of the Highlands.

It’s been a really interesting experience – trying to condense some of the dramatic history of the Jacobite rebellions, for example, into short scripts.
