The softback edition of my biography “Daughters of the North: Jean Gordon and Mary, Queen of Scots” will be published in April 2025 – pre-order a copy here.
I will be doing a talk in John O’Groats on Sunday 6th April, at 2.30pm at the Seaview Hotel, which will celebrate the launch of the new edition, and where I will talk about some of the important history of the Far North of Scotland which features in the book. All welcome!

This is organised by the John O’Groats Book Festival, which I had the pleasure of attending in 2022, and is partly funded by Scottish Book Trust’s Live Literature programme. The Seaview Hotel also has lunch options, if you fancy getting food before the talk.

I will also being doing some other events to celebrate the softback publication of “Daughters of the North”, including in Helmsdale and Inverness in April. Please follow / subscribe to this website (link at the bottom of the page) to get updates.
