Tomorrow, Saturday 12th April, I’ll be speaking about my book “Daughters of the North: Jean Gordon and Mary, Queen of Scots” at Timespan in Helmsdale, Sutherland.
Timings are 11am-1pm – there will be the talk, time for questions and chat, and there is also a cafe in Timespan for lunch. All welcome!
I’m looking forward to talking particularly about Jean’s time as Countess of Sutherland, and her salt and coal-mining businesses.
