I have just finished going through the proof copy of my new book “Jofrid Gunn” – it will be on sale from August!

I’m really pleased with how the finished book looks.
If you are in Inverness, please save the date: there will be a special launch event at Waterstones in the Eastgate, on Saturday 9th August at 2pm.
Alternatively, I will also be reading from “Jofrid Gunn” at the Verb Garden at the Belladrum Festival, on Friday 1st August, from 15.45-16.30.
You will be able to purchase the book direct from the publisher, Shearsman at this link (from August). You can pre-order now! https://www.shearsman.com/store/Jennifer-Morag-Henderson-Jofrid-Gunn-p733972897
There are also buy links on there for the major retailers, including Waterstones and Amazon. The book will be available from all good bookshops.
If you would like to pre-order a copy from your local independent bookshop, you might find the ISBN number useful – just take this, along with the title and my name, and they should be able to place an order easily: ISBN 9781848619951.
“Jennifer Morag Henderson has already firmly established herself as an author of vital prose non-fiction, and it is a joy to see her moving so skilfully into the realm of poetry. What an assured, atmospheric, and potent debut this is! It takes great skill to match the ambition inherent within the rarefied genre of biographical poetry, but Jennifer triumphs. These poems are loaded with narrative, character, ideas, and empathy – reminiscent, at times, of the great George Mackay Brown. The poems are incantatory and elemental and lively and enthralling. They contain the uncontainable” — Kevin MacNeil
