Look at this lovely book post! This is a translation of Josephine Tey’s book “The Daughter of Time” into Brazilian Portuguese, produced by Editora Pesadilla.

Recently, I did a special interview with Pesadilla about my biography of Josephine Tey. It’s amazing to think that Tey’s work, including this book written in Inverness in the Scottish Highlands in the 1950s, is still finding new audiences in translation across the world. In my biography “Josephine Tey: A Life” I argued that Tey should be recognised as a very important Scottish writer – I’m so glad to see that her work continues to be appreciated. “The Daughter of Time” is one of her most important books, and, if you don’t know Tey’s writing, it is the book I recommend starting with.

And… how many copies of “The Daughter of Time” is too many copies? Last photo shows some of my Tey collection!
