Interview with Christopher Whyte

Northwords Now Issue 40 is out now: for this issue I interviewed poet Christopher Whyte.

It was a fascinating interview to do, and it covers a lot. Christopher Whyte talks specifically about his collection “Ceum air Cheum / Step by Step”, but also more generally about writing poetry, about Gaelic and languages in Scotland, about translation, Sorley MacLean, Facebook, cancel culture and more.

The full issue of Northwords Now, which has articles, short stories and poems, is available to read online here: https://www.northwordsnow.co.uk/Issue40
