All in favour of a blue plaque for the wonderful Josephine Tey aka aka, but I do not think the Castle Street site sits well with her life – what about the old IRA building where she (and generations of Invernesians) went to school? or indeed the railway station/ hotel where she moved from being an Inverness spinster caring for her dad towards getting out her furs in London and stepping into the alternative lives she also choose?
